Data sources & compliance

Market Intelligence collects publicly visible product listing information (title, price, rating, review and sales counts, seller or author) from the search result pages of Daraz and Rokomari, using the open-source Goob library. It does not log in, does not collect personal data about shoppers, and does not access anything behind a login.

Requests are paced (at most one request per source every 1500 ms across all users), retried with backoff, and stopped automatically when a site pushes back. Each site's robots.txt is checked daily and scraping is blocked if the search pages are disallowed. Administrators can switch any source off instantly.

Figures are estimates from listing pages at the time they were collected. They can be incomplete or wrong (for example, sold counts are shown rounded by the marketplace, and some products have no ratings). Scores labelled low confidence are based on small samples and are indicative only.

Marketplace names and trademarks belong to their owners. This tool is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Operators are responsible for using it in line with each site's terms of service and applicable law.
